A good 1915 dated Belt for the WW1 British 1914 Pattern Leather Equipment. This is an American made example recognisable by the double cap mechanical rivets used.
1914 Pattern Leather Equipment was introduced during the British manufacturing & supply crisis of 1914/15 as an emergency alternative to the 1908 Pattern Web Equipment. It was produced in both the UK and America.
Very good overall condition and complete aside from the two straps to join the Belt to the Large Pack strap buckles being cut off. This was a very common modification during WW1 as not all soldiers used the Large Pack.
