An excellent collection of RAF Instruments all originally removed from a Lancaster and then held in store, most of which having been serviced before being stored. Later tagged.
Comprising:
Pilot’s DR Compass Mk1 6A/184 1943. AM marked and appearing to having been serviced. Very good condition.
Pilot’s Beam Flying Indicator. Clearly not service with degradation to the Perspex window and surface rust to the rear casing. Nicely AM marked. Seen alongside the DR Compass and mounted on the instrument panel coaming.
Airspeed indicator 6A/585 1942 calibrated to 340 kts. Used on several types including fighters but tagged to a Lancaster. Nicely AM stamped. Appears serviced with blanking plugs in placed. Very good condition.
Fuel Guage for No.2 tank calibrated to 383 gallons. 6A / 1378. Excellent perhaps unused condition.
Triple Brake Gauge Mk1c 6A/1754. Very good condition. Used on several type as well as the Lancaster. Port blanking plugs fitted. Appears serviced, very good condition
Magneto Switch Block No 1 and 2. Excellent condition, Blanking plugs fitted, nicely AM marked, appears serviced. Long switches.
Suction Gauge Mk1 6A/757, 1944. Excellent condition, perhaps unused tagged to Lancaster auto pilot gauge.
