A spiffing pair of privately purchased 1944 dated British Army Khaki Drill Shorts, don’t you know!

Following closely the pattern 1940 shorts with pleated fronts but without the dressings pocket, these were retailed by Huntsman & Sons in Saville Row with a waist size of about 30”.

Closed at the front by four fly buttons and two waist buttons with two straps and with nickel plated claw buckles, they have three large belt loops and two tunnels. Each side has a slash pocket and there is one real open pocket.

Overall condition is very good with some marks as shown.
